Bean's Room

From the moment we knew Bean was a boy, we knew we were going to do a puppy-dog themed room. Surprisingly, there weren't tons of different puppy-dog things to choose from. However, we did find one that we liked.

After some consideration, I decided I didn't want to spend the fortune it would cost to get the whole set of bedding and room accessories in the pattern we chose. After all, Bean won't know the difference and that money could buy lots of diapers! LOL So, here's my plan.

We have ordered the musical mobile from the set and I'm going to (try to) make the other things for the room, like the curtains and bumper. (JENNA!?!!) I'm going to use blue/white polka dots and chocolate/white polka dots.
Now, for the best part, here's the mobile. :)

Oh, you can totally do it! My first real sewing project ever was Sadie's bedding, and while it wasn't great, it was fun. And you've made cute stuff before!

I can't sew so I have no advice for that, but you can check out ebay if you decide the project is too hard. I bought Logan's Pottery Barn airplane bumper for 9.99 off of ebay. I washed, and he doesn't care that it's used! (I did spring for new sheets. I'm not THAT cheap.)

You can do it girlfriend! I actually used patterns to make both my bumper, crib skirt and window treatment. It made it a lot easier and it was fairly quick as well.

However, for Davin, I bought his bedding on overstock.com for $60, so check there if you haven't checked yet.
